It looked like the mi3 moved right back up after it got knocked down. It was impersive to see how easely the cars got around the track they seam to run alittle to tight. compaired to the other cars. I thank when the drivers get use to driving the big races I will see it win.

were the schuie guys running the 5 cell batteries forward or back at the reedy race?

did the receiver get mounted on the same side as the battery?

They ran the new 5 cell chassis. This chassis has a pad to mount the rx behind the cells.

Don't run it. If you need one, put a Kimbrough on. That's what Weylin had on his car this week and it fit just fine.

In all honesty, there really were no "secrets" to what we were working on. Just some fine tuning of shock angles, camber gain, and dampening. I'll go grab my car and fill out the setup sheet. It'll be on a word doc so email me and I'll reply with the attachment.

Would that be equivalent to putting the batteries forward and running the receiver toward the back behind the batteries if we were to run the 6 cell chassis?

it will be 5 cells foward (with the 6 cell chassis)and the receiver behind the battery, there is a picture of PW's car a few pages back

The 5 cell chassis puts the batteries in between the forward and back stock positions (just a little forward of middle) and moves the pack out 4mm to balance the car perfectly.

Does it have a spot to mount the antenna toward the back as well? Glad to hear this is coming out because balancing the chassis is important.

The chassis will be here in about 2 weeks. There is an antenna mouting hole right behind the RX
