Yeah, I had planned to. I like the idea of having the indexed rings so that the diff can be set looser. I never had any slipping issues with previous Schumacher diffs, but why go with the old one if the new one is better.

It will be the same as the Mi2EC, which was 1.8. And the spur that its coming with I think it was said to be the 87t 48p.

Thats cool. I have to say I want a car badly so I can at least say I feel for you. I have had the same car for getting close to a year now so I'm patiently waiting (ok I lied). Look at it this way they have been way closer to being on schedule than the others have.

I just hope those of us who pre-ordered way back in Jan.(and the shops that took those pre-orders way back when) will get ours first. First come first serve I say!

I think you will get from the first batch. I know Schumacher has a good amount of cars and parts coming in. I'm very confident you will like the car and it is worth the wait.

I have the same feeling as I do waiting for any new product no matter what it is for. I just hate waiting.

and i think schumacher do sell the compleate diff dont they?

People don't use diffs anymore? What planet are you living in?
If you race carpet on foams you have to have both diffs. Spools and one-ways are things that guys that run with rubber tires need. If you live anywhere in the midwest where carpet with foams pretty much rule the racing scene then spools and one-ways just occupy space in your spare parts boxes.

It always comes down to purchasing all the individual pieces and try to put one together.

This is something I've wondered about for a while, especially since more cars these days come with either a front spool or front one-way.

Is it something that Schumacher would consider doing?

thanks
You say why dont RC companies sell full diff sets, but XRAY do.

No theres one for the Schumacher thnread.

Others will be Me, Tim Getchell, Steve Walters, Wes Lions, Paul Buohl (Mi2 EC) Mike Kling to name just a few. Might be more but these I know for sure will be at the Express Race.

If your considering me one of the uninformed, then thats fine with me, because...well I didn't know. The last few cars I've owned, the companies didn't offer full diff sets and in the past its always been a pain to get everything together to build one. And when I looked at stuff like the EC and Mi3 exploded diagrams, I didn't notice the full diff listed, and i must have missed it on the EC parts page on Schumacher's site.

In any case, its good to know they do offer one and thanks to Adrian for answering.
