What are your experiences of Kick-Up, Anti-Squat and Anti-Dive etc on carpet with rubbers and how it affects the handling?

hey guys, anyone have any gearing suggestions for a 19t motor? specifically with a KD? its a medium size carpet track with foam tire, im kinda new to the 1/10 TC scene and im the only one with a Mi2 at the track so taking gearing suggestions from all the T2 owners only gets me so far..currently im at 33/116 and the car feels flat, im using 4200 WC cells and they have good numbers, motors are always taken care of also, diffs feel fine..just wanna see what others are using....thanks

I don't think much is interchangable from the MI2 EC that I run to the older Mission. That car is the model before the MI2 and MI2 EC. I'm sure Schumacher has parts for the car as you would need the normal front end stuff like caster blocks, steering blocks and a set of arms to get started.

To get the most info call Schumacher. Adrian and Paul are excellent on info like that. I can help you set up the car. I never had a Mission. My last Schumacher car was the Axis I and II and now my MI2 EC.

We have everything for the Mission. The suspension parts, upper and lower arms, hubs, etc... are still in use on the Fusion.

I think you are still undergear a little...I know 19T has a lot more torque then stock motor, and I ran 31-33T on stock motor foam (56-57mm foams)

I think you can start from 34T and up............

I just ran my stock foam with 13.5 with 34/116.......car was flat, and can't keep up with the tunned stock brush motor, and someone mentioned 34 is like 6-8 T too low for the 13.5 brushless

I run 13.5 in my EC at 35mmpr and it's great. Thats about 5.72 fdr and you would need to go to 36 or 37 to get that.

By the way - my son Scott just finished 7th in the Australian Nationals on the weekend driving a rubber EC with Novak Brushless 3.5..... proud Dad

Not to contradict or anything but we routinely gear our CO27's higher than our KD's. im assuming you had a 116 spur on the car with 57mm tires and geared that stock motor at 33. That puts you mid 27mm rollout. we were running 30-34 rollout. The old Blue can Atlas 19T you could run 35-37 rollout as long as you had a fan on it. with this years batteries compared to last years I would think you need to drop 1-2 teeth to not fade. Just my .02

Put a sintered rotor in it and gear it to the moon. I've been doing some testing at SoCal for ROAR to see what would be a true 19 turn equivalent and I had to do just that with the 10.5. I ran a 9.5 turn that when geared like a 19 turn, it was really close, but it could be geared up and made way too fast without going into thermal shutdown. Even with a stock rotor in it. But the 10.5 was too slow and had to be geared up. But it kept going into thermal with the stock rotor. I tossed a sintered rotor in and now it's impossible to tell I'm running brushless when I'm on the track with other 19 turn cars. 10.5 (SS4300) turn Novak brushless w/ a sintered rotor and geared @ 5.6.

hey bob, when you coming to the belly again, your initial setup help with the Mi2 was a great starting point, just need to get it geared right now
