Actually nevermind about the xxx4, been doing some reading and they seem to not be that popular for reliability reasons. Also shouldnt spend much more money on RC stuff for a bit. I'll try to get the RC10T3 up asap. Does anybody else run 1/16 or 1/18 scale stuff? Those would probably be fun to race.

Default New SCT/BUGGY Track News

Well i took the time to go check out the condition o the track after the amount of rain we have just had.
On the whole the track stood up well, but the rain has undone lots of our hard work.
Things i feel we need to address are......

Run Off, if we take dirt from the sides of the track to build up jumps, we are going to need to shutter the edges of the track or build a mounded lip to keep the track on the track, this will trap the water on the track but will also keep the dirt on the track.

Jumps, again we will need to rebuild / repair All of the Jumps now that the rain has done its best to wash them flat, plus i feel that we will need to shutter each side of each ramp in order to prevent them being washed away and to keep maintenance/rebuilding to a minimum.

Fingers crossed for Sat so we can get some work done.

Once the dirt is packed it will not erode as bad, which is one of the main reasons we do it.

1/16 and 1/18 stuff is even more fragile than 1/10.

After you left Anthony, I compacted all the jumps. All that is left is the bottom corner, and maybe a fine layer of dirt with some water on the jumps.
