The problem with your statement is you have a direct heatsink through the motor mount to the chassis. On top of that, the motor sits about .100" off the chassis....

I'm ~85% sure someone temped the servo in use and it was like 120*..... Might have been Toro. Check it.

On top of all of this (I know it's a 408 thread), I think/thought Easton was still running the "old" layout and wasn't convinced either....????

I'm just throwing it out there. I've not seen anyone's servo's be problem free in any 1/8th...

Hi smokinu. I'm just curious as to what your source of information is? Firsthand knowledge? Reputable source? I ask merely as a means to avoid adding fuel to (as yet) unsubstantiated rumors. I'm sure many of us watching this thread would like to know also, thanks!

I am not sure it even matters. You just contradicted yourself so I'm still not sure what you are saying. Since we race in the series that Billy does I don't see him having any issues on any of the trays he runs. Not real sure what that even has to do with Lutz and hope he gets it figured out. Sounds like your doing alot of think/thought with no fact. I thought it was obvious What I run but maybe not.

Smile everyone simmer down....

Gang let's all relax. Everyone seems to think they know the cause of the issue however no one REALLY knows.....

Let's all agree to disagree and let the facts be reported before freaking out!

Let's all get behind Lutz and root him on to a win

Edit: (lets agree to disagree).

Regardless of the failure, I really like the layout and hope it doesn't prove to be the root cause.

Hoping the absolute best for Ryan and TD. Car looks really well sorted and fast out there. I'm hoping the absolute best for Ryan as he is a straight up class act. GL Bro!

not sure what the issues have been but the bottom of the servo is about 1/4 inch from the motor mount, per the cad drawings on neo buggy. maybe the vibrations from the track are affecting the servos internals by it being on its side too?

OK that makes sense. Any possibility that the new KO servo has not been thermal tested? I know that the HiTech servos are thermal tested at 170 degrees.
