When we refer to longer warm up period, we didnt mean like 2 minutes,

put it this way, fast tires need half a lap to warm up and these GQ might need 2 laps, once it is warmed up, traction is very consistant.

Ok, looking at where you're coming from in terms of what tires you've tested, I guess it has better wear than the GRP tires you've listed but I think it does not come close to Speedmind or Sato Seiki (Mono Tuning) tires. They are just better tires that chunk less than GQ or even the GRP tires. I would think the rims are as durable as Speedmind's dish wheels and stand quite a beating.

Price wise, what we get over here is the same for all tires. So for us, GQ is just another alternative to try. Though I have to admit that the orange rims is kinda of appealing !
From what I have through, GQ rims are stronger then the others, dont get me wrong, Sato(Mono Tuning) tires are very good, grip and wear, but personal opinion Gq still wears better but not by far. you might be right about the toughness on Sato VS Speedmind but one thing I can confidently say is GQ rims are stronger they dont bent as easy as others.

It is great if you can get all different brands for about the same price! we dont have this kind of treatment in the State!

Yes some ppl likes orange rims and some just absolutely hate them! but I have seen GQ rims in Black in fact my first batch GQ's are in black rims, they are absolutely gorgous! I really dont mind the color as long as it performs good, last! Foam tires are getting expensive! may be I am just too cheap!

I think they don't sell the black ones (anymore), got a few w/ black ones last year, but not this year,.. all orange... (out of 200 sets ) so I think they're using orange as their official color now,... air filter (neck) is orange as well

arnaud chaussard won the 1st round of french championship running gq tires......

top level driver running and winning with these tires......

gq tires must be very good tires, only results show the quality and performance of any product.........
