Hey Mike, I just got my TC4 and I'm looking for some suspension tips. I must admit, I'm kind of dissapointed that it did not include the optional rear toe blocks and the optional caster blocks for the front. Is your setup with 3 degrees of toe and 0 degrees of caster or did u get the optional parts from associated? It would be great if you could post a starting setup for this car because there are alot more adjustments compaired to the tc3.

Hi Mike,

Sorry if this was asked a few pages ago, looked but could not find any reference.......

1/12 scale questions: (Asphalt/So Cal Raceway)

1) What should I be looking for in setting-up my diff? Do I need to shoot for the loosest diff without slipping or do I go for more preload? Is the diff set the same for all conditions or do you vary it dependant on conditions?

What does loose vs. tight do to handeling?

2) Chassis rake: Do you run the chassis plate perfectly flat? Does the pod also need to be flat in relation to the chassis or is it supposed to droop alittle?

Thanks!!! Lee Caldwell So Cal Raceway. By the way, theres NO 1/12 scale class at this track....sad face.

Default 1/12th rx pack wiring

Hi all,

I am having trouble getting my rx pack to work correctly. I originally thought that just plug the 5 cell pack into the rx and GO but thats not true. I heard that I should remnove the esc Batt lead andf then install a switch in the rx lead.

Can someone confirm or deny this oir provide the proper guidance.

Thanks

This weekend I really thought I had my car in good shape.
My first heat was one of fastest I have ever run.
My car broke down on each of the remaining 3 runs.
In each case it was piddly crap, things which had never failed before not the direct result of any crash.

Is there anything special you do on race day to make sure the car is reliable and you wont have any nasty surprises?

Mike; Hello I am sure this has been asked and answered but can you tell me how you have the servo mounted in your 12th scale car FLAT or ANGLED? and why did you choose what you have?

also are you using anything under the damper disks such as teflon tape and or lube?

what tires are you using this season? I just seen something about new Jaco compound's any info would be great

thanks Tracey Fogleson

Mike, What is the mount on the front of your Tbar?

Someone called it a tweakless plate. How does it work? Who makes it and where can we find it? I saw it on alot of cars at the worlds.
