A good pipe and header for my o.s .28
Hi every one, i have a team associated rc8t factory team truggy, and i have an O.S .28 engine installed in it with a hobao hyper7 pipe and header set i got of ebay. My question is: what brand of pipe and header would go well with this engine?

Run the OS 2060....... the 2050 is gonna be so ballsy its goona be dam near undriveable...... the 2060 is a mid/top pipe. That 28 doesnt need any more bottom........

I agree with Casterdriver, I have that motor and the OS 2060 may be a better fit as it tames the bottom ONLY A LITLE, but does help on mileage and top end, you should run one or two theth up from stock on the clutch bell, again tame the bottom, more top and a lot better mileage. I was running 15 on short tracks and 16 on long tracks with litle wheel spin, but very fast. with the stock 13 or even 14 it was undrivable. (losi 2.0T)

Best fuel mileage and power for the XZ28 comes from the 2041.
The 2050 is a great pipe but makes the XZ hit real hard in the mid to top and won't let the XZ breath on the top end.
The 2060 will mellow the whole power band out and has the same breathing issues the 2050 does.
But in saying all of that we have found by gearing it a full tooth up on the clutch bell it pulls better for less wheel spin and flattens out the torque band allowing you to use the 2050 or 60 with better success.
