Default Using rechargeable batteries

I am going to be getting a RTR buggy and I need AA batteries.

I'm not real sure how familiar anyone are with batteries but I have a sanyo Eneloop charger kit that I used for all my electronics and remotes. Would these be sufficient to use in my RC remote and the buggy? I personally don't see why they wouldn't be. Has anyone tried to use these types of batteries and had much success?

Also how long do the batteries in the remote and in the car usually last with regular Duracell batteries?

arent rechargeable AA's only 1.2v?

they'll do fine in the radio, but you'll want to use alkalines in the car to get 6v since they are 1.5v

Depends on the radio. Spektrum radios only use 4 batteries but last longer than radios using 8.

I would say get a nimh hump pack (at least 1400 mah) for the car and not even bother with disposable batteries. AA holders are electrical gremlins.
