any Orion motor is the nuts i have actually ran the lowest line engine all last summer and i raced every weekend went to a some bigger races and practiced 1 day a week and it still has so much pinch i can barely turn it over with my hand and i paid 189........... every OS i have had crapped out other people have had luck but for me i will never buy anything but an Orion

Man I gotta say that I have good luck with pretty much any engine I run.... GRP,Nova,Go,Picco,OS,OPS,Sirio etc...... Working on the different brands I do so some differences in the metallurgy, but for the most all these engines run good...Some may need a little pre-run TLC, some do not but for the most part once setup all these engines run good..... As for lifespan it all depends how you treat the engine....I can baby any engine and make it last 20 gallons, but there is zero chance of any engine lasting 20 gallons with the way I treat them, not even close.......If I get a good honest 10 gallons from an engine I think I am doing aces..... I frequent many tracks and know many racers and most guys go thru an engine every 8 gallons, and almost everybody overestimates how many gallons their engines have run....
