Dirt Tracks!
Hey does anyone know of any RC dirt track in or near San Diego?
Or maybe where I can find out where some are?

Family Hobbies in Santee has a cool track in the back, but electric only and they don't hold races, yet. Socal in Huntington is only an Hour and a quarter from where I'm at in San marcos. The Dirt in Hemet is a little over an hour; its more for Nitro. The Palomar Flyers Club in Rainbow is working on a track for buggies; not sure when it will be done. There is a bashing track near Palomar Airport in carlsbad in a field that is really loose and sandy that some guys built. Its not bad for Nitro 1/8th scale; elevation changes, doubles and triples, but will trash an electric due to its sandy nature.

The carlsbad is just an open field, not a real track. Just a makeshift track that guys threw together, so run whatever you want. the Palomar Flyers Club in Rainbow is under construction, so I don't know the rules yet. I only heard that it was big and kind of loose, so it wasn't good for electrics like B4, Losi BK2.

Kind of hard to explain. Its in a random field at the end of the street where Adio shoes is. From the other way, its behind Callaway. At the end of Palomar Oaks way going North. Walk around the gate and go down the dirt road till you come to the track in the bas of the hill. A lot od MX tracks in the area.

No cause its just a field. So look at my directions and try to figure them out. What I can do is get you close. Palomar Airport road to Palomar Oaks going North... end of court, go through gate loacted at about 10 oclock, follow dirt road all the way back to foot of main hills. Track is right there. PM if you need more help.
