Mugen MTX4R Upgrades
Last year at this time i had bought a mtx4r, built it and had planned to race it this past summer. However i was very busy and never got a chance to get out with it. In the mean time i had bought alot of spares and consumables.
So heres my question. the car as it is right now is bone stock. What upgrades should i look into? I was looking into a ceramic bearing kit, but does anyone sugest a brand? acer? Boca? Also is there any aluminum or titanium parts i should look at to help lighten/stengthin the car?
Thanks for any advice in advance.

That is simply incorrect information. Some of the parts last longer than others, it depends on what you use and how you use/maintain the parts. Many of the parts do improve the performance of the car. If lowering the center of gravity and lightening the drivetrain don't help, then you are correct. In this case, these parts can imporve the performance of the car therefore your post is simply untrue.

One should also consider personal driving ability or lack thereof. A good driver can tell the subtle differences, from the effects, of hop-ups on a car and thereby improve his driving. A poor driver cannot.
I'm not saying you're a bad driver. I'm just stating something that get over-looked alot.
I would suggest you drive the car, as is, on local track, to get the feel of the car. Then make upgrades and adjustments according to your driving preference. There is such a thing as over-tunning the car beyond your potiental and you don't want that.
You'll save yourself some money doing it that way.
