Default Whats the verdict

Are rubber tire sedans allowed at this track.

Does anyone know how it compares in size compared to the OCRC carpet track that closed down?

It is the same length, just more of a rectangle. OCRC was 70x70. This is 70x40.

Rubber tires are allowed and the track size is 90X45.

Thanks.

Hey---I'm excited about a new track out there. I'll stop by Friday afternoon if you're going to be there and check it out. I've been racing on-road since 1978-- currently racing 1/5 scale with Frank Killam and the GLARCRC Club--but we only race 1 to 2 times per month. I've got 1/10 and 1/12 scale cars for carpet racing. I'd love to get it going out in Chino!!!
Be seeing ya!@!

The MAJOR problem with the OCRC track was they did NOT use the correct carpet--AND they built it on top of plywood without stretching it down properly!! Therefore the bite AND the surface was inconsistant at best--the track sucked--and they wondered why the onroad guys didn't come out for it??
Guess it's best to do your homework first-- and speak to people that know how onroad and carpet work!
Best laid plans and all!!

Default THANKS SEAN!!!!!

Man did you guys miss a Great practice session tonight. This track is AWESOME!
Check the website as Sean was taking footage of all scales running on his new track which should be posted soon. Good comments on the track was all I heard, not a complaint about the size. Thanks to all for your help as well!

+2 ...Thankyou Sean for letting us come out and run Last night.

Track was awesome !! Traction still low but what is to be expected with new carpet. The track reminded me of iic track in vegas. It was built to perfection and the size of track is perfect.

Also guys we started off with corally Jack the gripper for sauce. Then the owner (sean) let us use the SWEEP tire sauce and it dropped a second off are lap times.

Thanks, Sean

Default Awesome Track!

Thank you Sean for letting us run on your track. You built it well and comforting with those cushion chairs. I threw the 1/12th scale on the track and it was hooked up. The Jaco Lilacs up front and the oranges in the rear worked well for me. I also liked the layout, length and flat surface. My car worked real well around the infield. I think the touring cars are going to work well also. See you again soon!
