Default LRP esc questions

Hey

Just want to know some things about the LRP esc. First are they a good esc and can some of them run brushed and brushless? How do you program them and do they have a lipo cut off on them?

Sorry for all the questions but could not find the answers on lrp website.

Cheers

Robert

What I now, was that the old LRP TC run brushed and brushless. But why brushed?
As you run brushless you don't want to run brushed again.

They have a lipo cut of.
setup is don by blinking lights. You go true a program. Download the manual of the speedo you want and you see how it works.

i want to race in a couple of classes one of which is a stock 540 class and am going to run one chassis for both. so i don't really want to pull the hole car apart just to change races.

Are the Brushless races also stock class?
The SPX can also run brushed.
Only be car full with the LRP. There are faster speedo's coming and you need to buy a new one as you want to go faster.
I would prefer a speedo that you can update.

http://www.lrp.cc/en/products/electr...-controls/car/

When you klik on the speedo, you get more info. under in teh screen at the right you can find a link to the manual

You probably dont want the one with reverse if your going to race as reverse is a "no no". Just my opinion. :smile

The LRP speedos automatically sense if a brushed or brushless is plugged in. They are great speedos. they are very easy to program with 2 buttons and they have lipo cutoff...

If you are going for hot mod motors, go with the SXX....if spec racing is your thing, go with the SPX...

The LRP can not be connected to a pc.
If you want a speedo that you can set on the pc, free software updates, use forward and backward and can use brushed and brushless. Get a Tekin RS.
