Dude you rock!! Thanks for bringing this to our attention...I hate when RC companies try and rip enthusiasts off...double the price for the identical item. Love the internet.

This would make an interesting thread. I wonder how many other less expensive non RC products can pull double duty and work for RCs.

Guitar foot rest = Car stand
Music sheet light = Portable light for working on the car

I do have one of the Overdose stands and it does stay flat no matter how high you set it. It will not sit at an angle for a footrest.

If you have access to a welder you could whip one up in no time it will be custom .Here is one I made and it only took about 1/2 hour.As far as cost goes it was REAL cheap because I used scrap steel I had laying around the shop.

I use a drywall pan - $10 at the local hardware store.

Flip it over, shoe goo a piece of door mat carpet to the bottom and throw some stickers on it. Also works great as a parts caddy for when you are tearing down your rig.

I have an RC specific stand... it is an old REVO wheel/tire. Find a REVO driver and ask them for a burned-up tire/wheel. Price was right for mine- FREE.

Just the right height for a Truggy.

And if you want to drill some holes it will make a nice shock rebuid stand too.

Local Guitar Center is out of stock! They said about 20 stands were sold in the span of 2 days a week ago. Anywhere else where we can get the "guitar stand" car stand?
