Hi guys!
Sunday I ran with this Setup
Track: Carpet medium grip, track very driven, with many Chicane

Motor: Speedpassion V3 10,5, Timing +10°
Brake: 70%
Start power: High
Punch: disabled
C.E.A.T.H : mode on
Timing: 35°
RPM: 8000 - 17200
FDR: 6
With Fan: 50-60°
Without fan: 70°+
I'm Very Satisfied! good progression e very fast on the straight.
negative note, the brake is not strong, you say I try to increase the% of brake?

Change your setting:

Break = 75%
Drag Break = 50%

If you have your drag break set to 0% you total break amount will be weak.

The motor over heat a lot faster when it is under geared cause the motor works a lot harder to get up to speed. A lot of people try to gear lower to compensate with the timing on the ESC but most guys ended up frying their motor.

Few of my friends geared their car (17.5/13.5) at FDR around 7 or lower they are way undergeared so their motor temperature average at 260 degree comming off the track at the REEDY race with LRP X-12. When I told them I gear mine at mid 5 FDR motor come off cooler around 180-190 degrees. When they tried it the motor came off cooler and alot more efficient and faster due to less heat on the motor.

Try to find the sweet spot on the motor and leave it alone and maybe gear 1-2 teeth up or down depends on how big is the track. Changing your FDR significantly will just worsen your ESC/MOTOR performance. My 2 cents..

How much brake you have is very dependent on what motor you have. I only have experience with Ballistics and Duo2's so far, but for instance the Ballistic has a lot more brake than the Duo2, I need 20% more brake in the ESC with the Duo2. You may need more Brake %, I ran 60% w/ Ballisitcs, and 80% with Duo2. Also be sure to check that you are not locking the tires up, that can make your brake seem weak.

I will hopefully have a X12 17.5 to try for saturday

Hi All
I got myself a MMP and just want to know what settings to try in cheat mode for 13.5 class or would someone share their settings. I'm running a 13.5 Ballistic motor.

Thanx in advance

If you read back a few pages geeunit has some rough gearing for the 13.5 Ballistic motor and the 17.5 Ballistic motor. He just raced a big race last weekend and ran 13.5 using that motor and posted some results with running it.

Here's a startup setup for MOD:

Profile = C.H.E.A.T MODE
MMP Timing = 26 degrees
Start RPM = 12,000
End RPM = 30,000
Punch Control = High (To prevent wheel spin)
Start Power = LOW
Throttle Curve = Linear

I run 4.5 but way too much power so I switch to LRP SXX.... you might wanna run 6.5T - 8.5T with MMP and adjusting the timing to get the top end you need and you will just as fast as 4.5T motor.....

Keep the timing on the motor at factory setting but adjust the timing on your MMP. Again don't use MOD motor below 6.5T or it will be undrivable unless your really in a huge flowing 1/8th scale track when slowing down is not really necessary.
