You mentioned nothing new, it was the coupling of the new suspension that would have made the EVO2 kit worth buying, that was my position on the subject. For someone that doesn't have a kit yet, I would recommend the EVO2.

Yes, I would agree with you! I was looking forward to the new arms on the new kit! Looking at the kit for the C hub arms it looks to be a real expensive option....very nice...but expensive!! So it would be better to stick with the old kit and buy the C hub option!!

What would be the advantage of the new suspension?

I am thinking about getting another car and the X-ray caught my eye. Glad I waited now that there is a new version. Just wondering how the car is to work on and make changes? Any info would be great. By the way, does anyone know what the car will cost?

The car will retail the same as the last kit, well, it really depends on how your LHS marks the price tag. But I thought the VIP room mentioned the price would not change.

This is a quote from the VIP room:
<quote>
The new T1 EVO2 will be available at all fine local hobby shops this summer. And the biggest surprise for the end, there is NO price increase for the new T1 EVO2, all parts are included for FREE.
<quote>

This car, in principle, will not be different when making setting changes. You have more setup options, for example, there are ample shock mounting positions on the rear shock tower.

I have no access to the VIP room, but I was just wanting some info on how the car is to wrench on. I heard the car is available now but I did not see it listed anywhere yet. Where would be a good place to keep an eye out for the car at a good price?

This is one place:

> Buster Bennett
> www.Bennett-Racing.com
>
> Rider's Hobby Shop
> 21800 Town Center Plaza unit#236
> Sterling, VA 20164 USA
> Phone 703-430-2202

The other may be www.StormerHobbies.com and of course http://www.teamxray.com/xshop/

I am sure they are shipping them out so they may not be on store shelves yet. Buster may have a more realistic time frame of when to expect them, he will pop on here soon.

Hello All,

Well, I guess you all have seen it for yourselves now.

I will post here the moment I get the C-hub conversion in the shop.

Have fun drooling over the pics! Wasn't it worth the wait?
I am sorry I was unable to give you all any hints when you called, but until things are final, I really am not able to disclose any information. I hope you all understand.

If you are already a owner, and have access to the VIP room, go there and give Xray some well deserved props, they don't get much sleep over there at the factory, you can trust me on that!

OK,

So I go to the gas nationals herein the US and I visit the local hobby shop...what do I find, but a sealed x-ray with the Hudy set-up stuff and wrenches for $340.00. (this was last weekend) I bought it not knowing that the EVO 2 was coming out. I think i'll be alright, I talked with Ralph Burch (new gas national champ) about it and he said that all I should worry about is the front drive hexes. He recommended that I upgrade those to the spring steel because the stock ones were prone to bending...

Any other upgrades I should look at? I just started building it..

Thanks

Upgrades depend on what surface you are running on Kansas.. you running on carpet or asphalt? Is the track long and flowing or short and technical? Also is it smooth or bumpy?
