so i just found this part bag labled '0002' it just had some body clips, e-clips, screws, o-ring, and what not. is this just a random spares bag cuz it has a 4x8 in it and im not finding a 4x8 anywhere else...?

I need a little help, if anyone can help, it'd be appriciated. I got my T1R not that long ago, getting it ready for the indoor carpet season. My LHS (well, not exactly LOCAL, but the closest to home) has a carpet track downstairs. I'm going to be running TRC Cyan/Magenta foams with traction compound on ozite carpet. (I've heard some places don't use Traction Compound or foams on ozite, just wanted to make myself clear.) Anybody have like a standard set up they use on a TIGHT track? This track, is T-I-G-H-T!!!!!!! We're going to be running 19T. I have the carbon fiber front and rear shock towers. Anybody got what I need? And also, since this track is tight, what would you guys recommend for gearing? I beieve I have a 64P 93T spur (I'm leaving work in a few, so I'll go and check), what pinion would you recommend on a Chameleon 2 Pro 19T motor??? If you guys can help me out, that'd be awsome.

Where can I get that??? I don't have the set-up book or instruction manual (bought car from a buddy of mine)

Here's my last setup for my old fk04 with saddlepacks in all rear running foams on carpet. It ran great through tight corners. Just make sure you use a spur/pinion combination that gets the motor within 1 1/2mm flush with the bottom of the chassis. Any higher and the rear end will want to roll too much. You'll notice I was using AE 40/35lb springs, but I was previously using Xray Red/Purple and they worked well. The AE springs just gave a little faster initial steering response. The cyan/magenta foams should work well, but I'd suggest saucing the inside 1/4 of the fronts only at first. This should give you enough grip in the front without making it stick too much mid corner and making the rear end suddenly lose grip. It is an aggressive one-way setup though.

I know to sauce 1/4 of the tire on the inside.

Thanks! But mine's a saddle pack set up car (3 cells on left, 3 cells on right, in the picture on the XRAY forum, it shows its on the left side (from looking at front) I'll be sure to try it out though and see how it works in September. Thanks again..

They don't have a template for the FK04 with saddle packs, so I used the new FK05 template that shows the batts all on one side. However, the setup is for the saddle packs all in the rear like the T1. If you check the comments section at the bottom, I've noted this and a few other things.

for the short arms, do i need to get shorter output shafts/axles? because when i put the current axle into the diff the upright does not line up with the arm so i cannot put the pin in to hold it in place. im gonna keep monkeying with it and see if im just not getting it right but who knows

also does the servo saver thing push flush into the hole in the chassis?

I'm not sure, but I thought I remembered someone saying that the original T1's had longer dogbones. You might have to purchase the current ones (part#305320 or 305321 for lighter FK version)

But for the T1 just make sure the plastic bearing holder in the upper deck is flush on the bottom side and the one in the chassis should be flush on both sides.

i got the dog bone situation figured out, you gotta mount the arms on the outside of the bulkhead

i dont think i ever would have thought of that but my buddy marshal (dado11g) told me that, hes helped me a lot with tellin me what i need and stuff
lol now ive just gotta buy some more parts so i can mount them like that
