$397 is an estimated street price. I can guarrentee the price will be lower than that at most hobbyshops.

Our LHS has just started selling parts at a discount. Parts include front one-way pro assy, alum c-hub, graphite shock towers, battery holders, bulkheads, arms among others. According to the owner, Juraj himself advised him on what parts to sell cheap.

Maybe those parts will not be needed for the new kit? I'll be stocking up on PB suspension parts. Those parts are very sturdy but might be very hard to find after the new kit comes out.

but if you always have a calculator at hand, you should just use the 32/18 as the internal. that will get you the most acurate and then to get roll out you can use circumference of your tire divided by the diameter of your tire for the value of pi
I'm not saying that there will be a huge difference, but using the 1,77 will not give you correct FDR.
It doesn't matter how many people is doing it wrong, it's still wrong.

so what are you using for pi? if you are using 3.1415 then the diff between 1.77 and 1.78 would be at least more understanding. but if you are using 3.14, then you have already added error to your equation. you already have a .001 plus or minus rounding error.

so in everyone's best interest and not to induce errors in rollout calculation we should all be using 32/18 for internal and circumference divided by diameter for pi. we don't want to miss that 1 * 10^-1005 now do we?

If a car kit comes with XRC, it shouldn't be the price of an FK + XRC chassis, should be the price of a kit + the difference between the price of the stock and XRC chassis. And even as of right now, no one knows what is supposed to come with this FK05.

Don't get me wrong, once it comes out and if it comes with goodies, I'll probably be first to own it locally when available, but the price is really not cheap.

Dom
Let's also hope for 2 regular diffs instead of a front one-way in the FK05!!

But isnt the XRC chassis a "carpet" chassis ?? On parking lot tracks a stiffer chassis is not allways the best,Hara used a 2 mm chassis on his pro4,and on my Xrays they seemed to work better (on the tracks i race at)with a bit more flex..but then again a slow car is easy to drive..

Default T1 FK Steering Hub ?

Just need to place an order for a Front Steering Hub that I broke last meet and just not sure if its the left or the right one. It's the one on the side where the receiver/esc is usually mounted on the stock chassis. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Selling my Xray T1 FK.

It is brand new, never-run, and built. I have had it for 2 months, and it has been sitting on my shelf. I am selling it with all the standard stuff (one-way, etc.) and with a front spool, extra rear shock tower, and the XRC chassis, very nicely sanded and glued (nicely prepped).

Contact me for more info by PM, strangely enough, email is slower response.

F-K-0-5, spoke with the boss and they are letting me get rid of this one for the new car, while I run the XB8.
