siebenelch- That car stand is sweet. Where did you get it? btw, do you think you could of put a bigger capacitor on your speedo .
I went to a race down in Salem, OR this weekend. It was pretty good, my car was handling great. Aside from the times when the c-hubs would break. I completly broke 2 and started to break 2 more but I fixed those with CA glue. Has anyone else had this problem before? But one of the weirdest things was that I didn't ever chunk a foam tire. Not once, not even a slit in a tire. The most was the tire just started to come off the rim in a couple places. Another guy I know who was running a t1r was breaking c-hubs a lot too.
I think it might of been the bolted in pvc pipes with 35 pound steel plates in the corners . Those sure were pretty hard on your car. Because when I drove the car at my home track where we use velcro plates with pegs that go into the pvc pipes to hold them in place I've never seen a x-ray c-hub break. And the first time out with the x-ray I have to was hitting more pipes than did in salem. Oh well, I guess I'll just get some aluminum ones, those should last a while.

If you go with the alum ones, then you start breaking the arms. Your best bet........don't hit the pipes. A similar thing happened to me with PVC pipes.

Does anyone make a 64 pitch spur bigger than 128. I have to run such a small pinion with the low ratio pullies, like 22 and my motor touches the belt even with the belt tighter.
Also with the motor out, does your drivetran spin better with the low ratio pullies or the stock. My experience seems like the low ratio pullies don't spin for quite as long compared to the stock setup. [/B][/QUOTE]

what do you guys think of the Solid front diff? Coz i'm thinking of buying one and use it on small twisty tracks where i need loads of acceleration and great breaking ability.

What type of track is it, and what Xray car do you have?

racerdx6- I had the same problem with the C hubs I made a kydex bumper that I layed on top of the foam bumper (as wide as the body would allow) now I only use it at certain tracks. And I replaced the foam bumper and it seemed better or maybe I just dont hit the PVC as hard anymore.
RCInfinity- where do you get your 5 minutes.
