Default Question

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if you would think that the T1R will be as compeititve as the evo2? I have a friend of mine that ordered one and he asked me what I thought and I can't honestly give him an answer. Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated.

T1R Should be just as competative as the EVO2. He can later upgrade to the EVO2 graphite chassis later on.

I just got my T1R yesterday. Haven't started building it though! I heard the T1R is a more forgiving car than the EVO2. I now have both cars so I'll be able to give the feedback soon! For those who have bought the T1Rs, how much did you guys pay for it (in USD)? Just curious to see if there're big disparities internationally...

Default Pied piper story

Get this guys,

Last Sunday was my first race day with car and it felt great, but of course could have been better. During and after the day-I let 4 guys drive it. As of today-three confirmed-and maybe a fourth local racer have all ordered T1 evo2's!!! One guy is going to order both the T1R and the evo2!!! How cool is that?

One guy raced his TC3 all day!! AFter 80 some laps of heats and mains-he turned six laps under 14 seconds. Just six. He took my car out with a half charged battery pack only 25 minutes after the A-main was done and ran about 9-laps. 5 of the laps were 13 seconds and middle 13's too!!! the rest he clipped a board or was a low 14. He was immediately sold!!

I started a trend!!! Thanks to Dan, Rob, Jason, etc. for getting me such a great starting set-up that everyone who drove it was impressed!!!
DO you think I should put in my application for Sponsorship now or later??? J/k-I suck!!!

hehehe,
Ray

to convert the T1 Racer chassis to the Evo2, would you have to shave part of the rear bulkhead to fit the batteries?

Default T1R Heads up

Hi,

Just wanted to let those who are interested in the T1R know. My shipments of T1R has arrived and will be selling on Ebay for USD $ 239 plus shipping.

But being Ebay, the cost to list it and after bid charges are high therefore I can only sell it at that price. But for those who are interested, you can contact me without going through Ebay and I can sell it for $ 225 plus shipping of $ 15 including insurance. I only have a limited quantity so please check with me first.

Please understand that I'm not trying to solicit business on this forum as I'm already doing fine on Ebay and servicing previous customers. This is purely for those who have anticipating the new T1R and I thought I'd reserve a few for the group as a courtesy.

Thanks.

Jimmy

the graphite should be a direct fit..no need to shave any part of the rear bulkhead. You'll just have to do the usual filing of the battery slots and CA all the edges...

Who here made it into the Reedy Race? Or at least think that they made it into the race?

Do you think they might still have some spots open? I'm really temped to go and run the T1R. Are you planning the 19 turn? or mod? I heard you guys were really fast with the 19t down at Socal. I might have to head on down there this Saturday and practice. LOL..

I'm thinking of locking up the front one-way or the spring steel diff and trying that versus the solid fronts for mod. Any comments?

Locking up the front...wouldn't that achieve the same results as using the solid fronts....
