It works A-OK on my laptop with Win 7 Pro x64.

Do you think it makes any difference that I am running Home Premium - I get an error "Failed to load FTD2XX.DLL. Are the FTDI drivers installed?" This is with v1.1 from the Team Novak site.

Seeing as how it's a driver error, it's probably because you don't have the drivers installed because you don't actually have the NovaLink yet. Once you get the link, it comes with a CD, on the CD is the 1.1 software and an installer for the drivers. Once you run the installer for the drivers that comes on the CD you should be good to go.

Thanks for that... I was just being impatient as it said on the Novak site to 'Test Drive' the software... will hopefully have my cable/CD tomorrow.

My final update until I get my cable... tried the v1.1 software from the Novak web site on my work laptop which is standard XP Professional with service pack 3 and I get the same problem so hopefully it is the fact that I have not done a full install from the CD with the cable.

I have it working, but you get a bunch of errors before the screen comes up. It does work though. Just doesn't handle the errors well. Looks like novak needs to hire some programmers.

I was getting the same errors on my desktop, but not on my laptop. I haven't actually had the cable plugged in on my desktop though. I think it needs the dot net fix included with the installer, but it's x86 only.
