He was running 2wd Buggy, not sure what motor he had. Since there was nobody using the on-road track he was slowly driving back and forth on the straight and the car was stuttering than it smoked. I thought he said they were known to smoke but I could have heard him wrong??

Just not sure what you mean by timing profile, can you explain what you want to know.

There have been a few in the early batches, but this suppose to be corrected now, although there could still be some of the old ones still out in circulation.

Default Driver Profile

Anyone cruising thru here know of, (or the man himself), Dustin Layne, sure would like to get his profile and setup that he used at the "Birds".

We just uploaded the rev 1.42 and it has the fix fo rthe temperature data logger.

http://www.teamnovak.com/download/ES...are/index.html

Kinetic Firmware 1.4.2 Fixes:

- Fixed Motor and ESC temperature log error; rev 1.41 showed default data only

- One touch can be performed without the motor connected

- LED blink sequence matches the instruction sheet when the motor sensor harness is missing

If you are not using the Nova Link you do not have to update your esc

That's about what I figured. I was going to order another GTB2 but might go Kinetic Spec instead. Orange Power

Calvin & Hobbes, love it.

We will be working on adding profiles; shoot [email protected] a note with your request.

Dustin's gonna send me his profile for Timing advance class. He was pretty pleased with it in the main, I think it was same as we ran in Vegas.

His Touring Stock profile was pretty basic, we maxed out the Drive Frequency and the Minimum Drive. I think the rest was left alone.

Shoot me an email and I'll find out for sure. [email protected]

Sorry for the delayed response. I just sent both profiles to Charlie

Like Charlie said, I ran with max Drive Frequency and the Minimum Drive. I was geared at a 3.8 with 40 degrees of timing in the motor. I don't remember exactly how hot the motor came off, but I don't think it ever came off over 120 in spec mode (running a fan).

For open I ran what Steve Rossi and Charlie came up with at IIC. I think a little less delay on the boost from that, and maybe some little tweaks on gearing/motor timing and it would be about perfect. I have to wait till I get back on a bigger track to play with it some more.

Any questions just ask
