Body to suit XB8
Hi everyone, first post on this site, and I must say it is great to find a site that is still very active.
It is the end of our 2009 season at my local track, I have been away from racing for the past 2.5 years and I have decided to get back into it, I attended the last meeting of the year and am now looking for a body to use for next year.
My car is an XB8TQ, I have been advised that the Mugen MBX5R body will fit, can anyone confirm this?

That is correct. If it fit a MBX5 it will fit your XB8

Be careful to check the engine head's position. The XB8ec's head is about 4mm back of the mold lines in a mugen body, can't say where the TQ's head is positioned but it's worth checking before cutting.

A lot of bodies will work, you just have to be carefull when cutting them out since not all the molded lines are the same. I have used the MXB body before also and i've used another but cant remember what it was right now.

My buddy runs the XB8, and he found that JConcepts makes their new Illuzions body to fix the XB8...looks very sharp too!
