mamba 9000kv?
anyone got one of these motors?? is it better then the 7700 mamba??
and i see alot of people running the 7700 motor with 3s lipos even though it only pose to be useing 2s lipos. is it really ok to use 3s? maybe just keep the motor cool?

The 3s voltage can cause the motor to exceed the RPM limit for the rotor, causing it to self destruct. It has nothing to do with heat. Almost nobody on here that races uses is motor, as the only class that it is legal in would be modified. Some bashers may use it, though. With the correct gearing, the 5700kv motor can be just as fast, and you can use 3s with it.

o ok thankx. i would consider myself a basher lol..i would like to race also but right now im looking for speed
