Hi I am just wondering, what sort of track is that, in door, out door, concrete, carpet. What would be the approx track lenght?

Many thanks

In Canadian $, we pay 16 to race and 9 to practice. Thats about 12 and 7 USD. This is for indoor carpet, about 80x40, ozite.

Hey petzl, where are you racing? I went to the county high school (many moons ago), and my folks still live near LaGrange. I had no idea there was a track...

Thanks,
Jay

As long as there's somewhere to race, I'll pay whatever they want.

My lhs charges 11$ to race, and 6$ to practice. Other ones around me charge about 12-15$. My lhs does make much money off of the track, they get about 12 racers (all in the stock class) each weekend for racing, and they give away prizes at the end of each race day. At most they bring in about 100$, and thats without paying the wages for the race director. After paying the race director, they are bringing in approximately 30$ from the races. I dont know how my track stays open. And they just opened a new indoor track, which cost about 3000$ to make.

Paid Race Director ? .. wow, I bet the guys that run our club would like that. We just all race for fun, and everyone takes turns running races, and usually 2 or 3 guys are in charge of helping set up the computer end of things, entries, mains, all that.

Well, the guy who runs the races is an employee of the hobbyshop, so he gets paid. And the sad part is, even though he gets paid, he still sucks.
