My favourites are RCcaraction and RCdriver.

RCCA is loaded with advertisements (I actually like looking at new advertisements)

However, the magazines dont cover much of onroad stuff anymore...

Email or Call them.

I tried getting RC Driver's Dave Baker to come down to our track to write about our races, especially the NorthEast Grand Slam series. Since Dave Baker lives in MD, and not too far from our track, I figured this was would work for him. But giving how I never got a response, they didn't come. So, in that respect, I will again, cancel my subscription. I used to love them a lot, was even called their #1 Fan for a while. But they let me down. They still have excellent content, but I am sick and tired of all the off-road coverage. I will wait until on-road is popular again and then I will subscribe again. RC Car Action is great as well, but again, plagued with off-road.

I am very sick and tired of off-road crap. But it is the popular thing right now. I can't blame them. But I won't be renewing any subscriptions with anyone.

Personally I used to subscribe to RC Car and Xtreme RC. I liked Xtreme the best but RC car was cool because I used to get in electronically. I don't subscribe anymore due to the lag in coverage and the lack of on road coverage.

#1 RC Driver great coverage and articles
#2 RC Car Action - decent coverage, MANY ads as stated good how to articles

do not even consider Xtreme RC, worthless mag in my opinion.

I don't get any mags any more. 1/8 offroad and monster trucks don't really float my boat.

It would be cool if there were some sort of onroad only newsletter. It wouldn't have to be super thick or ultra glossy paper.

My favorite RC magazine is a UK based magazine called Radio Race Car. It is very even in its coverage. It has monthly articles on all scales. Does good product reviews and covers all the biggest races over there. They do cover Worlds and Euros and sometimes they even cover races in the US but not too often. They even have monthly coverage of RC motorcycles which I am not really into but its cool to look at. I sound like I work for them but I don't

I am just a long time reader and I appreciate the fact that they cover all scales every month not just the flavor of the month.

Default RC Driver

Thanks for all your input. I ended up subscribing to RC Driver. Not only did I think it was the best magazine; they had a special for 12 issues for $9.95. How could I beat that? That's 83 cents an issue! Thats crazy!

RC car action, little or no on road, all ads, hobby shops get them before subscribers.
I like Radio Race Car.

Honestly if you are into on-road rctech.net and redrc.net will give you almost everything you would have gotten in a magazine and more.
