Novak Havoc issues

Since no one from Novak responded to my question I will ask again.
I ordered a havoc/17.5 BL system on 9/16(my birthday!) and delivery will be on 9/23. Is there any way from a sku # or a serial number on the package if this system has the newer software?
Would be nice to know BEFORE I remove the shrink wrap, for return purposes.

Well first of all, I think the Havoc Spec is awesome! The only issue I have is that it won't work with my Epic Duo 2 at all. That kind of sucks, but I'm glad it has the built in protection feature. I'd much rather just get the 17.5 Novak motor to be sure of a "full day at the track".
