Insurance should cover just about everything in there. It won't be an easy itemization, but that's what its for. More of a homeowner than auto claim.

But if you see this guy pop up at a track rolling Pauls car with some diamonds encrusted you may want to ask him what crack whore sold him the stuff for $15.

I would put money that if it was a targeted hit... and people knew what they were after, any R/C gear will end up overseas in the Asian market. I've heard of computer gear thefts going that route lately to avoid any chance the gear could be ID'd domesticly.

Which if thats the case, the gear is long gone.

As Scotty stated, the trailer was locked up in a secure gate off site from the hotel. Makes me wonder just who, and how many people knew of it's location.

Default so sorry

Scotty,
I am so, so very sorry this happened to you and your crew. This makes me sick. This is absolutely unacceptable and someone must be held accountable.

You always go the extra mile for the RC industry and I find it hard to believe any rc racer taking the time to enjoy themselves at the IIC would do this to you. I may be wrong.

Let me know what kind of PC equipment you need and I will be glad to help you replace some of it where I can. We have an IT department with some inventory that may be useful at least to get you back on your feet.

Steve

Hey Scotty,

Sorry to hear about this. Last year i came home to my Home broken into over Christmas. Sucks Balls!

I see quite a few people wanting to help. I think we all have some extra this and thats we could donate. How about a group auction / sale and donate the proceeds to Scotty. He could opt to keep what we put up if he needs it, or use the money for what he needs most to get rolling again. I know I'll donate to the cause.

Yea, it was talked about at the buffet. It had to be one of the racers, they are the only ones who would know where to go, and what to grab.

As most of you that were there in Vegas know Scotty is coming up to announce and run our race the "Timezone Gran Prix" . November 6,7,and 8th 2009. It is also now unofficially know as the Scotty Ernst trailer benefit. We will now give $10 of each entry towards the trailer equipment replacement. we are looking at (100) pit spots so we may see 100 to 150 entries....

So come on guys what better way to help out a bit and get the opportunity to race again with the best R.D. around.

We will post thread today about the race and we are working on the entry form. Registration and information is available on our website at www.timezoneracing.com
