Well since rally racing isnt on a track, chasing the car makes sense to me. Its different than what most people are used to, but it makes sense.

You gotta believe that a blooper vid is soon to come !! Any bets on how many guys have run themselves into a tree or tripped and ended up squashing their own car ?

What a great idea for larger sized drivers like myself!! Burn calories and have fun at the same time!

I seem to be stuck between,"Thats really cool." and,"Thats the dumbest thing I have ever seen." Just when I think Im starting to get into it, I see a nerdy pair of legs running by taking little tiny steps and holding the controller against themself. It looks like they have to pee.

If you like hiking and racing RC then here is your chance to do both.

I guess a good compromise would be to have a rostrum somewhere in the middle of the course and be able to turn around as the car goes around the track. Of course it would only work with one car on the track at a time.

I used to run my rally cars in public botanic gardens at quiet times and got used to finding shortcuts so I could watch the cars without having to run behind them. Of course, in a race your time might depend on how well you can keep up with the car.

I dont mean to be down on it. It was great to see something differrent. I guess the idea of running behind it was just a little too far off for me. I really dont like the idea of driving, running, and turn marshalling all at the same time.

What are we looking at anyway? Is this Tamiya gearbox cars or a TC with a certain type of wheel/shell combo like VTA?

The only thing GUARANTEED to make me smile (and probably laugh) is watching YOU chase your own rally car down a dirt path! And probably skin your knees in the process!

We love SKUBA!

Sorry Steve, but I'm going to agree with Jay on this one. That would be pretty awesome.

My night is complete! Just imagine the U.S. version of this. The "driver" would have a minimum weight that everyone could easily comply with so as to not exclude any competitor. But since this is the U.S. version, the little guys would have to run around with 150 pounds of lead in a backpack. Gotta keep that playing field level! Then somebody would import special european Nike trail sneakers that aren't readily available here in the states, but instead of laces they would use stem cells to adhere to your feet at an atomic level and a 21 page rctech thread would magically appear in 4 minutes flat to discuss it all.
