For a straight that long with a 13.5 is a rollout of 40 to 45 a good starting point

Thanks guys.

Are there any pan car tuning guides out there? I have the xxx-main book, but that really only applies to touring cars and such.

Look here. It's slanted toward /12th, but most applies to 1/10th too.

Well 2012 season is starting again so time for a new body. Nothing fancy just white and black with some stickers to finish it. It is a mix of Lancia LC2 cockpit and the Porsche martini colors.

I left the rear part unpainted so it looks like the wing is hanging in mid air and is supported in the middle. On the picture it doesn't show too well but from a meter or so it looks pretty neat.

ok, another question, lol. I got my gen-x le used, setup as a 1s wgt car. I did not know that 1s lipos were not as tall as regular 2s lipos. I need longer 'hex standoffs' to fit a 2s pack in there. Anyone know what part number I need?

The CRC gen x had a carbon strip under the standoffs, that is why it was high enough for a 2s lipo. Adding shims under the standoffs of the genx -le will do the same thing. It is probably the most simple solution.

I dug out my old RC10L from the mothballs - and rebuilt it a couple months ago...and picked up a 2nd one to play with as well.

These are setup w/ the old ANDY's TOJ body, and we joined in w/ the 235mm group running at SoCal's FREEDOM PARK Raceway in Camarillo.

We're running 10.5 / 1c w/ Timing /Boost.

Most of the other cars are running a ProtoForm Peugot type body, and this class has been a great throw back for me, I hadn't run a 235mm Pan Car on-road for over 20 years. (I was never good at it, but MAN am I rusty now)

At the last club race there were 13 of the 235mm cars - with 105 On-Road entries in total.

Default Any Interest in this body?

This was made for the HPI Super Nitro back in the day. Its 9" wide fits 280 - 300mm wheel base.

They could be made available if there was any interest...

Nice car, why the shocvks up front? I remember we used only springs in the "old" days.
