Unhappy

Well the Rolex 24 is over and Terry Borcheller, Andy Pilgrim, Forest Barber and Christian Fittipaldi have won. The car driven by Andy Wallace, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart crashed in the bus stop with abot 25 minutes to go and finished fifth overall 3rd in the Daytona Prototype class.

I am here and all set up. Track opens for the first time tomorrow @ 5 PM for on-road, then around 9:15 PM for oval.

The West Coast Maverick Racing Crew is leaving for the airport tomorrow morning, 7:00am ... ETA in sunny Florida, 9:00pm! what away to spend the day, car rides, airports and airplanes!

But, it will be a week long oval experience (and watching some on-road too!) for us, third year in a row. Stop by the MFG Row and say hello to the guys representing the Maverick Oval Chassis and Jake's Performance Hobbies.

Hope everyone has a safe trip, see-ya-all at the race.

Default Long week ahead!

I leave my house tomorrow at 5:30am, will be at the track about noon. Then I set up 2 PC's, a AMBrc decoder box, and my RC Scoring Pro software. I am running practice for several days, then during racing I will be displaying lap times and other information on my two BetaBrite displays.

Drop by and say 'hi'.

Not sure when I am going to sleep with practice running 24 hours a day. See, I am already blinking.

Good luck everyone racing at the biggest race of the country! I can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

I was chatting with Daniel Fukuyama while he was at the airport awaiting his flight yesterday and wanted to let everyone know that at the snowbirds, Fukuyama cells will be available!!! Just check out Superior Hobby's booth, they have very high voltage packs available to the Public!! Get them while they last.

Happy Racing.
