Choose servo betwen 9351 and BLS351
#16
Hi all, thank for your idea.
Today, i saw my brother drive kit xray 808 with BLS 352 for steering.
I'm not understand why he used 352, i think 351 is enough Torque for steering, and faster BLS352.
if you then you will choose which one? BLS 351 or BLS 352.

If the BLS version is all metal gears, it would last longer... not that the 9351 is a bad servo- it isn't. In fact it is pretty darned good... but for the price range, (and those are "upper end servos," make no mistake!) the Hitec is tougher. (BTW the "TG" stands for "Titanium Gear")
In fact, I have bent, and in one case even broken aluminum servo arms. (Servo saver? What's that? Crank it down until it coil binds! lol) The Hitec just keeps pluggin' along...
Now... the little metal servo arm that comes with it isn't beefy- you have to drill the hole bigger for the linkage screw, and the edge distance gets pretty thin... the Racers Edge arms are really good stuff though!

Get the Hitec 7955 instead... you will be very happy with it. Then when your brother breaks the one in the XRAY you can say "sometimes you Nguyen, sometimes you lose."

I have two Futaba 9351 in my truggy and two Hitec 7955 in my buggy. A couple of people asked why I didn't put them in the other way... I just bought them in that order. I've never had a problem with either.

musta read it funny this morning...no worries buddy....HITEC FOR LIFE.
I am currently trying to kill a 9351 on throttle in buggy....but it keeps goin....eventually it will be swapped for 1 of the spare 7955's i got waiting...the only time i chewed a gear was when Gary Guest sold me on it for a steering servo.....well that didn't last too long. throttle it went after that.

the nylon gear is weak to say the least.....the servo i bought From Matty Matt(jammin team mngr) failed within the first 10 min of run time this was after hearing Gary Guest preach on how it was the best steering servo out....so he lent me HIS Spare 9351 and took my truck and installed the servo and double checked the servo saver to what he ran....went out for the main....guess what...failed again.....and i know what your gonna say next....im a crash master and i abused the servo.....Every run was on video..there was no excessive crash's except for a couple slow speed roll over's....once i got it back from service it sat for a good 6month's before i would trust it again and it went on throttle duties and its still alive to this day....that was 3 year's ago.

Hi, thank all.
I have bought BLS351, and I feel very happy with it.
It fast and strong, and very smooth.
