Does anyone have any experience with either of the two new Yokomo DC powered chargers? The better unit charges two batteries at the same time.

I've used the BCS- single charger since the summer and like it alot, what do you want to know?

I also was wondering about them... how is the temp charging feature? what are the + and - of these chargers? Thanks

The temp charge just shuts off the charger after the pack has reached a predetermined temperature via the included sensor. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that they're just chargers. They don't discharge or run motors or anything else, just good chargers and the Double charger can charge two different packs at the same time

Ive been using the BCS-D charger for a while, definately like the temp charge feature. I havent had any problems with it except for once when I was on a overused generator, I got a couple of false peaks. Normal conditions, it works great!

Matt-I wasn't aware that the Yokomo units didn't discharge. Was considering using a BCS-S or D AND their new Motor Maintenance System as a complete package. With all those buttons, I just assumed that the Yokomo units also discharged and cycled...My mistake!

Back to the drawing board. Thanks.

the double is an awesome charger.. i also have the single.. but still need to sell it. the great thing about these chargers is the timer feature.. i just set the timer and i can go turn marshall or work on my car without having to worry about starting up the charger.

randman is right.. get the rayspeed disc. and your all set. i have it and use it combined with my chargers and it works great.

one thing tho.. for the double.. found this weird error. it would charge a battery up to 7-10mah.. then stop... and give me an E.. instead of an "M" reading. i unclipped the aligator clip..and clipped it back on..and worked fine. probably a glitch in the system

yah. i had to lug around my quasar pro and my bcs.. it was just getting to be too much stuff to carry. now all i have to carry is my double.

i think its kinda cool having 2 of the same charger...but cost a bit more!

btw, what material is the shell made of? plastic or metal?

I know the single has a plastic case, I don't have a double but I'm 99% sure it's plastic as well
