Well, just thought I'd post some pictures of my F250 body then. Just finished it earlier this evening. I just need some Singers/Thumptown stickers now!

a couple shots showing that at full compression there is no interference.

at this point the only pics we have of the new layout are some drawings on paper and the pics in our heads. we are waiting for the track to dry out so we can get on it to get the layout in place. so as of yet we have not been able to do anything with the track. hopefully within the next couple of weeks it will dry out and we can get on it and get it done. as soon as it is ready we will post some pics of it. i think this will be a fun track to run on.

do you plan on making a visit this season? we would love to have some new faces to come out and race with.

I'll look at my schedule for the summer. I want to come up though. Looked like a fun track when I drove by going to the canyon last fall.

Thanks Brian. I was shooting for the classic Ford two-tone. This was my first time using liquid mask. Worked well, no seepage or anything. Pain to get off though in spots. Only problem was it fogged the windows in areas. Not sure if I messed something up there, or if I should just tint everything next time.

I am going to do my best to make it up Thursday for the meeting as well.

Had another brainstorming idea on the way home tonight from the meeting. For the 'rumble strip' area, How about burying those foam 'Noodle' sticks that you can buy for the swimming pool? They're inexpensive (dollar store) and pretty tough, and can handle being buried. They're about 6' long, so two end-to-end would cover the track surface.

landscaping logs work well also. just rip them in half with a table saw and lay the flat side down and you got big speed bumps.
