Notice the word 'bulk'. It'll be a problem if you're carrying 100 lipos, but other than that there's no problems associated with travelling.

Perzactly. If all Lithium batts were banned, the businessmen of the world would flip out for not being able to bring their laptops.

Airline passengers are not allowed to pack loose lithium batteries in checked luggage. Consumer electronics containing lithium batteries are still allowed in carry-on and checked luggage. However, passengers are limited to two spare lithium batteries in carry-on baggage.

That could still be a problem if your going to a race with more then 2 batteries...

There are plenty of ways around that one. When it's law, then worry about it.

I have traveled some in the past with my RCs and even with NiMh batteries TSA agents interpret the regulations differently almost every time I travel. Things like this will only make things more difficult in the future.
