Default GT7 or Quantum Competition 2

I'm undecided about what ESC to get. I want the best unit I can get but don't want to spend any more money than I have to.

It appears that the GT7 & QC2 would be the units to get. Having had no practical experience with either make/model, what do you maniacs think?

I don't have the QC2, but I have used the original Quantum Competition and the GT7 and actually like the Quantum better. I thought the GT7 was too smooth (for sedan anyway). I also like the adjustment method for the Quantum better, with two buttons, where you can adjust every aspect individually (just a matter of preference). The biggest deciding factor was size, the GT7 is huge compared to the quantum series, especially considering that a power cap is required. The main draw back to the Quantum compared to the GT7, from my experience, is that the Quantum tends to heat up more. This may be an issue when running in hotter, outdoor conditions.
