Default brushless esc with brushed motors

hey

I am just wondering if it is at all possible to run a brushed motor with a brushless esc and what sort of esc do you use?

Answer : yes it possible to run a brushed motor on a brushless esc , well on MOST brushless esc it is possible .
The thing you will need to do is check in the instructions and see what it says and then follow them to make your brushed motor work , because on BL ( brushless ) motors , you have 3 solder tabs , A , b and C , on a brushed one , you have 2 solder tabs , + and - so normally , you would solder the A B C wires from your bl esc to the - of your brushed motor and ..... or it depends on the esc you have , some would say the a, b , c wires to - or to + or a, b to + it just depends .
But yes it is possible to run brushed on bl esc .
What esc you have ?? Or what are you planning on to buy ?

i have a spare ezrun esc adn i was just wondering as i have heard of it before but was not to sure. plus i want to try it on my off roader that i am converting

Depends on which version of the EZRun you have, version 2.0 does not support brushed motors only brushless
