Default Trying 1/12 scale for first time, good starter car

I am thinking of trying 1/12 scale and need a starter car. Probably will purchase used so what out right now is a good vehicle to check out. What should I avoid? what are common tires to have?

I want to do 1S lipo and brushless I am thinking.

You can get a million different opinions here, on the best car. But you really should go to the track, and see what everyone else runs there. You'er better off starting out with a car other people are using at the track.
