Default Motor Cans!

Question... Since armatures are only about $12 to replace in a Monster Stock, I was wondering if I could just buy a few of those and just keep using the cans? Do the magnents go bad and if they do, when? Exactly the same time you're armature can't be trued anymore?

Well, if you overheat them too much the magnets will weaken, but as long as you're careful about that, they should last long enough to run an extra armature or 2(especially for club racing). And if you can get your hands on a magnet zapper, BIG bonus(Clyde might have one, but I'm not sure if anyone else in our area does, I wouldn't mind playing with one myself).....

I'd like to get my hands on some motors with no brushes and springs so I can put what I want on them...

After you cut the comm you could replace the brushes and springs.
