ca carbon fiber chassis problem

i was trying to seal my avid 1/10 sedan chassis and all it did was seal it with whit color all around it so i filed it off and dont want to try it again. So any help would help

I think someone once said that there was an excellent article on sealing a chassis on CRC's website. Should answer your questions.

I sealed my exotek chassis with loctite. Exotek recommends loctite over CA glue because CA can cause some tweak.

The CA glue you used is wet. That's why it happened. When CA glue gets old it traps moisture and then when dried off completely leaves the white colour. Buy a new bottle of good quality CA glue and you shouldn't have any problems.

Also, in the future, if you want to take off CA glue, you can use Flashback, no need to sand anything just in case you need to clean surfaces where sanding would look crap like on the face of carbon fibre plates.
