I've seen these on a couple of receivers but I don't underatand the concept of the application. Can anyone fill me in?

usually used for low turn motors where they draw alot of volts and amps...the capacitors keeps a constant flow of juice to the receiver and servos so that theres no glitch or lose of power to the servo
usually happans if turns go lower than 10...the servo will start to glitch and twitch when you accelerate!

They smooth out the power going to the reciever to prevent glitching. Assumming you know what a capacitor does, by storing power that discharges when needed, your reciever will have access to needed voltage. Typically this happens during hard accelaration in mod, especially with lower wind motors.

Okay, so we are looking at the positive and negative leads on the signal wire of the ESC to connect a capacitor to the receiver?
