if you are in tower saving club member you can spend $300 and $60 off and free shipping. it's like $80 per kit, cheper then tt-01. you do not need 3 kits... 2 for racing and maybe 1 for parts? too bad it is not in stock yet.

I can't seem to find too much out about this car. Can you tell me what tuning options are available? (sway bars, caster blocks, toe, etc..), and what type of steering system it has? I'm getting it anyway, I'm just curious.

I plan on running 13.5 /rubber or VTA (or both).

Now I just need to find a deal on a similar deal on a brush less set up.

I'm going to the LHS after my next painting job to pick one up!
the steering is similar to the ABC car, well actually the whole car is similar to the abc...

as for hop ups..i have been told by the guys in OFNA that they will be coming out with a bunch of hopups for the JL...i dont know when tho, im waiting also...the existing arms have holes for the sway bars so im guessing they might come out with it.

i have some custom sway bars for the JL..but i dont use it. unlike the ABC car that has a lot of sway on the chassis, i dont think we need it on the JL.

Jeffrey has been testing some sway bars. We will let you guys know when they come out.

Hi guys,

I've been following this thread with interest.

I live in Australia and am keen to get my hands on a JL10e, as I have an ABC Hobby Genetic and find it to be fast and tough.

However the JL10e as I understand it is for a GT class, and is wider than a regular 190mm touring car. Does anyone know whether a 190mm version will be released? I emailed Ofna a few times asking some questions including if the car is distributed in Australia and the 190mm quesion, but never heard back. I guess they're not interested in a small timer like me.

Also, does any retailer currently have stock at the $99 USD price point...Tower has shoen 'order pending' for quite a while now, and whe I emailed them for more info, received no info.

Thanks,

Steve

The JL10e is set up for 200mm. There are no plans to change the width of the car at this time. I am sorry we at OFNA did not recieve your email.
The car is manufactured by hong nor. You could try a hong nor distributor in Australia.
If you could you may want to call tower and speak to them about order pending.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your reply....sorry, I didn't mean to sound negative about the lack of reply. The intention was more tongue in cheek. I don't know why my messages weren't received, as I sent a couple through the Ofna web page and one via my regular email.

It's a shame about the 190mm issue as it looks like a terrific car, and I think that it would be a popular touring car also. I guess the GT class in the US is quite large, and the cost of making a narrower version of the car isn't justified. Oh well, I'll cross my fingers and hope!

Thanks again for your reply.

Cheers,

Steve

You are correct it is actually 195mm. The 200mm bodies that we are using fit real good. 3mm offset wheel would be too much.
