Rubber 17.5
Rubber 13.5
Rubber Modified
1/12 17.5
1/12 13.5
1/12 Modified
WGT

Instead of having "Masters" classes, have awards within the class for the top 3 Masters AND the top 3 Juniors (under 18) - Remember, the young racers are the future and they should be recognized as much as any of the other racers if not more so to get more (especially young) interest in the hobby/sport.

17.5 foam
13.5 rubber
mod foam
12th 17.5
12th mod
13.5 world gt
VTA

now my opinion
foam is not dead and it's easier to setup and get a handle on plus it's easier on the carpet. I have seen many a track that fuzzed up with rubber tyres. it's hard enough getting a mod tc to hook up let alone be on rubber tyres and most local tracks run 13.5 rubber. VTA did better then F1 and truck classes the last couple years. most drivers will run world gt 13.5 and 12th scale either up or down. you need mod for the manufactors to support the race at all. otherwise it's a big club race. 10.5 needs to die as only outdoor tracks can run that much power without smoking tires and not having most racers finish the race. it's all about track time and the old you can't win if you don't finish no matter how fast you go.

This is a very good idea. What they do in most other sports events.

why run mod rubber tire when the tracks are barely big enough to run mod foam tc just dont make sence to me to put that kind of power in a car and cant really use it why not just run 13.5 or 10.5. people keep saying what the rest of the world is running but there tracks are bigger than ours

I was talking with some of the team drivers at the carpet nats about 10.5 most of them pretty much agree that it's a 1 run motor class if you want to win. Josh even said cook it and chunk it pretty much at the pro level. personally I bet josh could finish top 3 in mod with a 10.5 in the car. and that's what I have been saying about 10.5 for a while. our carpet tracks are not big enough but mod sells product and makes the ADs.

josh is an awesome driver but i seriously doubt that. josh will not beat kevin herbert with a 10.5 if kevins running mod or mike blackstock or ralp burch or paul l. or paul c. or mike dumas if he was running so ........

Mod sells cars, stock sells tech.
Mod, the car needs to handle well to compete.
Stock, you need the most amount of power available to you as possible within the rules. That's why the Tekin RS Pro and LRP SPX are selling so well.

I have one 10.5 motor, I ran it at 3 of the NEGS races and last year outdoors and this year outdoors and it still runs good. And I had the fastest car on the track at the 360 race which was in Jan long after it hit its 50 run mark.

I totally disagree with this statement.

It only blows motors if you dont gear them properly.

Schreff and Kev blew a bunch of motors at the mimis race only because they were gearing them too the moon like idiots with new software and speedos that they obviously didnt know how to get the most out of with the proper speedo/gearing setup.
