New Yokomo charger?

Personally I like having the double charger.... I can charge two packs and still have the Turbo 35 open for motor break-ins or discharging...

I haven't seen any drawbacks to the charger so far.... it even helped the punch of a couple packs of the old GP3300's...

There is a pic of my chargers at the Novak Race....

Hmmm, I asked my LHS if there was a good charger on the market that could charge two packs at the same time and they said no... What the average cost of the BCSD, and are there any disadvantages for the BCSD compared to other chargers?
Thanks,
Ike

Great, I was all prepared to get two chargers for my father and I, looks like we can just get this and be done with it! Anyone want to enlighten the noob as to what I will need to discharge my batteries... Any chance my old and I mean OLD (as in the very first model) Turbocharger will do the trick for that, or what else should I look into for dischargers?
We used to just use the old resistors that would burn the crap out of you if you got anywhere near it

discharging
i use one of those aluminum BORG looking integy dischargers (30amp) then equalize and condition on my rayspeed discharger before i charge up again. (of course i allow for the packs to cool down)
if i want numbers.. i throw it into the reedy quasar pro, and discharge (20 amps only) and it'll give you some numbers, average voltage i think and remaining runtime..
35GFX guys have the same thing but more features (discharge curve) and stuff. you get what you pay for!

Is the BCSD capable of charging two different packs at different voltages, different peak cutoffs at different charge start times?

yes

Excellent, thanks
