well i blew then engine in my savage ss (old school .25) and i was reccomended a lrp .28 or 30 by squirlod and so i was looking at them and they are decent prices but i want to know what engine you think would b good for a basher with a lot of power and that is reliable and is under $300...im mostly on road and a little dirt

have you looked at the Mach 427 ? You can get them new for a $150 or less. They have a lof torque and are easy to tune. Great motor for the price.

yea it seems like a good engine but hows the power compared to the 4.6 because i might resort to the hpi engance exchange and get the 4.6ho for $150 or i believe $175 for the 5.9 (.36) which has a ton of power
