When brushless was new the club I race at put 23T and 13.5T together. The results were very close but most wins were with 13.5 brushless. It was a very even match however.

a 23t and a 13.5 are pretty much equal.

Wow, here in the states 19T is pretty close to 13.5, and 27T is close to 17.5.

I think this would be a failure if attempting to run some type of parity between the two, as a 10.5 or 11.5 would be much faster than a 23T.

I would suggest a 17.5 or 15.5. The only 15.5 I've seen to date is made by LRP as an economy motor, so if it comes down to a 17.5 or 13.5, use a 13.5.

our club rules allow

10.5 with 5 cell
13.5 with lipo r 6 cells
19 brushed with 5 cell

the brushless are a lot quicker than the brushed but between the 10.5 and 13.5 there is little differance over a lap , 13.5 has longer legs on the straight but the 10.5 has the better punch through the twistys , wish i could have the best of both worlds .....

did try 10.5 lipo but that was like driving modified ......

Not saying close in terms of performance but the rules and regulation in Asia states that 23t brushed is equivalent to 11.5 brushless...

However you can throw that theory in the garbage can coz the 11.5 brushless is definitely wayyyy quicker than the 23t brushed motor.....
