Default High air and idol

I have a Ofna Hyper ST with a Jamin JP .28 engine that I am having a strange issue with. It seems that when the engine gets up to temp of 225-235 the idol revs high when in the air after a jump which makes it really squirrelly on the landing. (No, I am not revving the engine in the air.) While this is happening I’ll bring it in and lift it off the ground and the idol will not change on or off the ground. It only seems to happen when it is moving.
I was wondering if there is an air leak somewhere in the system so I changed the tubing and made sure everything was tight around the engine and the gas tank lid is shut.
I believe the high side needle is good with the temps I have been getting but not sure of the low needle. Although it doesn’t stall and there is a steady stream of blue smoke.
Wondering if anyone else experienced this?
