Default WHY IS MY MOTOR SMOKING??

I have a Novak Cyclone ESC hooked up to Trinity 19t Komodo on my TC3

Can anyone tell me why the motor would be blowing smoke lol???

Smells nasty & doesn't look to healthy..

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance..

Vincent,
the motor is over geared. I would also think it's time for a new motor as they aren't much good after you have smoked them.

when you get a new motor get a smaller pinon as well

Yep, overgeared or ran it to long. Either way it got extremly hot and when that happens the expoy coating on the windings in the motor melt. That causes the wires in there to touch and short producing your smoke. Motor is no good after that.
