hey Ray,

#1... not sure for 4cells, as my setup works with the dsm in 4 cells, and other people have problems. i'm lucky i guess..

#2.. nothing needed.... drop in your dsm and go racing....

i'm running KO 2343, novak GTX...

Chances are, a capacitor is all you need to keep the voltage high enough. A light and small 1100uf or 2200uf 6.3v should do, it's the main solution I've read about (and used) when it comes to evening out voltage fluctuations.

Should use it with 4 cells for sure, but it won't hurt for 6-cell too, especially if you use a PT. KO Servos and Spektrum with a PT can be a bit of a load... I know a QC2 would need it, even with 6 cells. I haven't heard so much of a problem with the GTX though.

Hmmm.. hole-less body mounts.. what would that be, magnets? Velcro? Duct Tape? Wind downforce?

One funny part of a TCS Rally race we had was a guy flipped so many times his posts and holes couldn't hold the body on with clips anymore! He had to use battery tape wrapped around the midsection to keep on.. hah.. the jump for that race was insane..

Would a RF-501F KO Propo FM RF-Module work with a KO 297FZ receiver?

You can use the Helios with the KR-297FZ as long as you put the radio in the normal response mode. This would be the swithc behind the module (N).

So what you're saying is that we can use the Helios with the Mars reciever,we just need to swtich the mode to normal?? Is that it??

i am having a very bad problem... idk why but it just started yesterday. when i turn on my car and transmitter the servo is turned to the left about half way. so i set the steering trim to the middle...then after about 30 seconds of driving it just randomly steers to the right. but now it also wont work smoothly either. it has a big delay in the response and it a bit twitchy.

as of now i am pretty sure it is the transmitter b/c i have tried 2 different cars, 2 different servos, 2 different esc's, and i have also poped in a spektrum to see if that help it(and it didnt). i need it to race today or else im screwed

o, and btw, all batteries were fully charged.

thanks,
marshal v.

Have you tried the Adjust VR function? Sounds like the steering pot is damaged.
